Very pleased with entire CityRock experience. I had shopped around and knew exactly what I wanted for my new kitchen island countertop. I emailed CityRock with dimensions and multiple brands/colors to request a quote. They responded very quickly and literally blew the competition (about 7 local providers) away. Their price was so good that I reviewed Angie's List and BBB to make sure they could deliver and found great solid reputation. CityRock was incredibly helpful in answering questions about my project (did I need supports under the countertops?, could they cut the cooktop opening outside to avoid the dust in my kitchen? etc.). The installers were professional, on-time and very careful not to damage any of my existing kitchen tops when they lifted the fairly large countertop on to my island. They also were kind enough to cut and finish some leftover granite from my island demolition for another space. I HIGHLY recommend you to use CityRock for your countertop project.

He explained everything & then went right to work making the sink "coexist" with my new garbage disposal and faucet. He did a wonderful job (expensive but wonderful). Granite Countertops were purchased from City Rock by Vostone and primary contact was James Vose. James came to our home to meet us and helped us in selecting color and pattern at the Stone Distributor.
Customer service was excellent, estimate was very competitive and, after signing the contract, within 7 working days four things happened:

4. Installation of countertops.

I was nervous about our first granite installation. But James Vose and his team did such a great job from start to finish that I actually felt like writing a review. My way of thanking them. At the same time as we were getting granite, we also got hardwoods installed and boy, did that company's attitude help me appreciate James and CityRock/VoStone.
First of all, James sat with us on multiple occasions to help us plan our kitchen. He even offered us advice on the flooring, paint and other things we were working on.
Secondly, he's not in a hurry to make a sale and move on. He stayed involved throughout the project. His personality is laid-back but he's action-oriented. I liked that.
Third, he's got great people who work for him and with him.
Fourth, when we asked him to fix a minor issue or two, he came by immediately. Most granite companies will be great through the sales process, then disappear once they have their money. He wants a customer who is so happy they are willing to refer him to friends and family. At least, that's my observation.
I read that negative review below before I signed up with James. But please don't let that affect you. I think you should expect a few things will need your input during the process. THAT IS NORMAL and ACTUALLY A GOOD THING. For example, when the tile installer came here, I realized that I wanted to stop the tile at the cabinet, not at the end of the countertop. So we made that change by consulting back and forth. If you are getting granite countertops installed, and spending all that money, you need to stay involved and flexible. Some things are clearer when you see it coming together.
Anyway, that's my two pennies, hope it helps someone. I depended quite a bit on web reviews to make my decision so I wanted to give something back :-) All the best with your project.

Our granite looks great and it was one of the best decisions we ever made to select CityRock. Their current promo code is NM2011 I think so get the best discount you can, but remember price isn't everything. Make sure you get the right vibe, and for us, CityRock was the only provider we found to be reasonable, ethical, and upfront about EVERYTHING. I would choose them over the others (and there are many granite shops in town) any day of the week because they truly deliver a quality product. Hope this helps someone."

I saw their showroom about two weeks ago so I decided to drop in. Their designer Merrit was so nice to me that I decided to have her out to my home to measure. She was on time and very professional (she even had a great idea for an accent wall color that I have been struggling with). Her price was VERY good. I picked Tropic Brown and it was installed yesterday. I was very apprehensive about having a seam (my kitchen is too big to do it in just one piece) but I have to say that now that they are done, I can barely see it. I would and I WILL recommend this firm to anyone who is looking to redo their kitchen.
