Hot water and dishrag or sponge is all you need
to clean spills and wipe away crumbs to keep your countertops clean and tidy
throughout the day.
Use a stone countertop cleaner like Fila Brio over the
entire surface and edges to remove all dust and debris from around countertop
appliances, containers, etc. This also serves to condition the stone and
maintain its overall luster.
A Polish Cream like Fila Formula Marmo can be
used periodically to enhance the shine for the ultimate in natural stone countertop care. At the same time, it generates an additional layer
of protection for your countertop. You can use this kind of product as often as you
like. The Fila Formula Marmo has also a nice scent.
Testing for sealing natural stone countertops annually is a good idea to determine when you need to re-seal. The Water test is easy and quick.
Pour some water on your countertop and leave it for a couple of minutes. When you start to notice that water darkens the
stone, it means the stone is absorbing. Then it is time to seal your countertop.
